Viva Las Vegas

Hey guys! I haven’t posted a blog in a few days and that is because I’ve been in Las Vegas! My boyfriend and I checked in on Sunday to Caesars Palace and I haven’t stayed in this hotel for a while and it’s so classy and gorgeous. This was a much needed vacation! Since I am under 21, I ate a LOT of food hehehe. I was so hungry at every restaurant I grubbed so quickly I forgot to take photos of my food (please forgive me!!)

Oh do I have a story for you. This trip was supposed to be for a few days Sunday-Tuesday. On the drive home my boyfriend and I noticed the sky was extremely cloudy. Extremely cloudy turned into extremely dark clouds and we knew something was up but didn’t think much of it. We kept saying we were “driving into Dooms Day”. A few miles later we got closer and closer to what was causing the dark clouds, a giant ass wild fire. We hit traffic so hard and tried to take multiple detours and couldn’t find a way to get back home so we went back to Vegas for another two days. We hoped that the freeway would open by then but it didn’t so we took a detour that was an addition TWO AND A HALF HOURS to get home. I am finally home and blessed we made it back safe. Hopefully this explains my delay in posts and I will get back on my blogging game and get up some DIYs for you!

(Ps… You have to try the frrrozen hot chocolate @ Serendipity 3. It is amazing, it is life.)

What we ate:
Beijing Noodle No. 9 (overpriced bland Asian food)
Bacchanal Buffet (huge selection of food!!!)
The Buffet (another yummy buffet but not as good as Bacchanal)
Serendipity 3 (filling breakfast menu and delicious frozen hot chocolate)
Sprinkles Cupcakes (my life and reason for potential cavities)
Cafe Americano (midnight munchies and was craving for pizza <3)
Tiger Wok and Ramen (I was homesick for pho but it was not good)
Pho Kim Long (because my pho craving wasn't satisfied with the previous restaurant)
+ lots of candy!!!

What we did:
There are things to do in Vegas even if you're under 21! My boyfriend and I spent time walking up and down the strip and visiting different hotels. Each hotel has its own style with different gift shops and areas such as a cute garden in the lobby so it's a great way to get exercise and explore! Some hotels also have free shows in front of the casino and sometimes inside. We really wanted to watch the Cirque show O at Bellagio but the only seats left was all the way in the back. There is also Circus Circus where they have rides and a mini carnival with games to play! And of course we ate our stomachs out. Let me know what you do in Vegas or where you want to go for vacation! I am trying to convince my boyfriend to travel to Japan next year haha but we will be taking another domestic trip soon!
